Datum have launched a remote blast vibration monitoring service in partnership with EPC UK.
EPC Metrics is a dedicated remote monitoring service for blast vibration and air over pressure movement and was showcased at Hillhead.
Hillhead is the world’s biggest working quarry exhibition and was attended by more than 18,655 people from more than 70 countries over the three-day event.
Datum CEO Rory O’Rourke, said: “Hillhead provides the perfect opportunity to showcase the services offered by EPC Metrics.
“It is a stunning setting and with more than 450 exhibitors it attracts a lot of visitors and we hope it will be a great success.”
EPC Metrics will allow the immediate access of event data via state-of-the-art fixed monitoring stations. It removes the need to travel to or from a monitoring location and the time-consuming manual downloading of results in the field.
EPC-UK regular attend Hillhead and they will use the event to showcase new drone technology and update on their paperless blast solution Expertir.
